A friend of mine once told me about how seaworthy a vintage Volkswagan Beetle was. She described how she drove it into a shallow river until the water lifted the Bug high enough so that the wheels weren't touching the bottom. The Bug would then drift down the river until she hit another shallow spot, at which point, she would finish the crossing by driving the car out of the river and onto the opposite bank.
Although, I had no doubt in her story, it still was very hard to imagine any car capable of doing this . . . until I found this Youtube video! This makes the vintage VW Bug truly an Epicview!
